Project Description

DEC Projects supported SPA with estimating for major works on the Lilydale Line at Coolstore Road, Dublin Road and Cave Hill Road. The program removes road–rail conflicts, improves safety, and restores local connectivity through a new under-rail road link at Coolstore Road, accelerated delivery at Dublin Road, and a new pedestrian underpass at Cave Hill Road.

Key Scope

• Coolstore Road: new road connection under the rail line between Kent Avenue and Lacey Street.
• Dublin Road: level crossing removal delivered a year ahead of schedule.
• Cave Hill Road: level crossing removal works in delivery, including a new pedestrian underpass.
• Outcome: safer, more reliable east–west connections across the Lilydale Line for local communities.
