We’re thrilled to welcome Grace Nan to the DEC Projects team. Grace joins us as an Estimator, bringing over 10 years’ experience marine and civil engineering construction. She brings expertise in cost estimation and tender submissions across industrial buildings, water treatment plants, drainage and road works, and marine civil structures, along with a background in renewable energy projects.

We’re excited to share that Tom Baulch, our Senior Project Engineer, recently worked with Downer Transport & Infrastructure on the Hobart Airport Runway Upgrade Project. This vital project involves upgrading Hobart Airport’s airfield infrastructure, including strengthening the runway, upgrading taxiways, and constructing a new taxiway, to support increased aviation operations and boost Tasmania's tourism.

We recently brought together our estimating and engineering team for an insightful knowledge-sharing session. Our team shared their hands-on experience managing cranes and heavy-lifting requirements on civil projects, giving our estimators more insights to ensure informed and accurate estimates.
