We’re excited to share that Tom Baulch, our Senior Project Engineer, recently worked with Downer Transport & Infrastructure on the Hobart Airport Runway Upgrade Project. This vital project involves upgrading Hobart Airport’s airfield infrastructure, including strengthening the runway, upgrading taxiways, and constructing a new taxiway, to support increased aviation operations and boost Tasmania's tourism.

We recently brought together our estimating and engineering team for an insightful knowledge-sharing session. Our team shared their hands-on experience managing cranes and heavy-lifting requirements on civil projects, giving our estimators more insights to ensure informed and accurate estimates. 

We are thrilled to announce George Alysandratos joining DEC Projects as an Estimator.  With a background in civil engineering, structures, concrete remediation and demolition, he brings hands-on experience in construction project management of commercial and industrial projects. 

DEC Projects's David Blamey is the project manager overseeing the delivery of the Warm Fill Facility for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, successfully moving their Point of Sale operations to a new warehouse.

DEC Projects recently had the pleasure of hosting our first work experience student, Lia! Throughout the week, our entire team shared their expertise in engineering, estimating, marketing, business operations, and even arranged a site visit to one of our projects.

We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Robert Logan to Estimating Manager. Rob joined us two years ago, during which time he held the position as Senior Estimator, playing a key role in building client relationships and the training of team members.

Another milestone achieved by the DEC Projects team in collaboration with National Civil Co, Melbourne Graders, and Roughan Haulage & Excavations.

DEC Projects welcomes three new team members to strengthen our capabilities: Jessica, Estimator with civil engineering design and site delivery experience; George, Estimator with international expertise; and Jocelyn, Marketing Coordinator.

DEC Projects and Nasi Civil have been doing some great work on Melbourne Water assets at Level Crossing Removal Project jobs.

Our team worked on the Ferguson Street, Williamstown Station level crossing removal, which included completely revamping the surrounding precinct. It was a journey for the team to get there but great to see the end result.
