DEC Projects supported delivery for the Wyndham Vale Train Stabling Facility in Melbourne’s west. The 3 km site provides four stabling roads, each accommodating two 6-car V/Line Velocity sets, with refuelling and cleaning capability and new buildings for staff amenities, security and network systems. The works included 3,500 m of new track and installation of overhead gantries to future-proof for electrification. Construction was completed over three months with zero impact to train operations.
